Fear Free Shelters
Fear Free Shelters is a 5-10 hour course designed to teach rescue and shelter volunteers the basics about cat and dog behavior in shelter environments.
Fear Free created the concept of FAS, which stands for Fear, Anxiety, and Stress in animals. This concept is used widely in vet fields and larger rescues and shelters to understand and track an animal's emotional state.
