About Us

Our mission is to prevent unnecessary euthanasia due to medical or behavioral concerns while improving rescued animals’ quality of life.

We focus on community assistance, exemplary housing, and behavior-based care while educating the public to raise care standards and promote compassionate, informed pet guardianship.

Intake Policy
Our current intake policy focuses on transferring from other rescues and urgent cases at risk of euthanasia. We are only able to accept community surrenders in rare, critical situations.

To give your pet the best chance at staying in a home, we recommend posting them on trusted rehoming platforms:

RESOURCES
To give your pet the best chance of staying in their home, please check out our Rehoming Resources page for rehoming websites and behavioral support options. Reach out at the first signs of concern — don’t wait until surrendering feels like the only option.

About Us

Paw-Rump Rehab & Rescue (PRRR) is a growing animal rescue based in Pahrump, Nevada. To support our mission, we offer pet services like dog training, and pet sitting. These services help generate revenue for our animals.

We work closely with the local rescues and shelter to be able to intake animals who need a calmer environment to thrive.

We work closely with JAM Veterinary Services, and are fortunate to have the clinic’s owner, Dr. Jam, on our Board of Directors. This partnership ensures our decisions are rooted in veterinary expertise, science, and veterinary expertise & science.

Behavior Based Rescue Operations:
Dogs:
- Indoor & Outdoor Playtime
- Frequent Potty Breaks (never exceeding more than 10 hours without a potty opportunity)
- Cozy “Bedroom” Kennels
- Daily Naps & Enrichment Treats
- Everyone Sleeps Indoors Overnight

Cats:
- Free Roaming in the Cat Cafe
- Daily Play & Cuddles
- Enrichment Treats & Toys
- New arrivals: isolated for a minimum of 3 days to assess for illness, then they move to a large indoor catio in the Cat Cafe room, and when they’re adjusted they’ll free roam and join the rest of the kitties.

With your support, we can welcome more animals without compromising the care they deserve.
